My first post for week 1 activity – Introduction to Typography of the Typography unit.
Activity: You’re quite the type!
The purpose of this activity is to get us thinking about and working with type. It also investigates different approaches to express typographic personality, with understanding the basic typography terminologies, such as typeface, letterform, point size and type specific attributes (leading-kerning and tracking). However, this is activity provides skills with the InDesign that is going to contribute toward the project 1 – word and meaning. More research and reading need to be done to maintain the professional level of using the application and to show typographic concept.
