Work in Progress

The Word and Meaning Visual Making
Words are not only read—they are built, carved, and embodied. In this composition, letters stand as sculptural forms, rising in monochrome strength against the wall. The word itself, fractured into geometric volumes and painted in marbled textures, feels both familiar and strange—inviting us to see language not as symbol alone but as material presence.
The bold black-and-white patterning transforms each letter into a visual rhythm, as if meaning itself were constructed from fragments of shadow and light. Supported by thin rods, the letters appear suspended, caught between solidity and fragility, between permanence and impermanence.
Narratively, the work reminds us that words carry weight, that meaning is shaped not only by sound but also by structure and form. Here, language becomes architecture, each letter a building block, each shape a story. The piece insists that words are lived objects—grounded in matter, alive in imagination.
