it is true, I have to feel the final appearance of the layout, If I do not feel it, means that, there is something need to be configured.
At this stage, further typesetting refinement and spelling revised. I check the content for any redundancy. I try to be honest in giving sense to my content meaning.
Feedback
As I start to draft my first entry, initial thoughts from my eLA sounds encouraging, and that; enable me to proceed with confidence. I posted my sketching draft on blackboard, peers provide me with excellent suggestions, and positively highlight my concept. At this stage, I monitored their progress, interact and send comments back.
My eLA and peers, advise to place my elements in advance, to save time, correcting and adjusting. It was good, understanding that, things need time to get better. The positive feedback from my eLA, is that a great progress happening, and I succeeded to communicate information correctly thought the use of space, and how I utilised the grid to distribute the content. Suggestions to consider the typesetting taught me, how it affects readability and consistency.
Reflection
The outcome of this project experience is, to expand my knowledge in layout and grid system. This project allows me, as practicing designer, to develop attention to details, problem solving and production awareness. It was challenging to improve typesetting and layout skills within the context of a large format. Additionally, the project provides me with an excellent opportunity to learn from my peers proposals, and effectively respond to the eLA’s suggestions.
