Throughout a strong use of various techniques and media the versatility and translucency of my glass present the viewer with the opportunity to see through it in several different ways simultaneously. This multiform vision resembles the photographic process, presenting imagery surprisingly reminiscent of landscapes.
My painterly panels invariably evoke a strong connection with the human. By abstract layering several sheets of glass resins, often trapping fine substances such as gold leaf, copper wire, strands of fiberglass and copper, I add richness, texture and depth to her fluid-edged and singular works. My works intuitively, painting high overlay glass resin directly on, under or between sheets of glass, often all three. My techniques become integral to the narrative of the work as I control its translucency, color and line. Read full topic at:
